Wednesday, Dec 9 (various times below) e Park District of Oak Park and WSSRA welcome families with sensory issues to Cheney Mansion and a visit with Santa. Santa has added a mesh screen to the inside of his Santa beard so parents can be assured he is safely masked. Appropriate activities will be available while you wait along with individually wrapped treats. All Ages 5:00-6:00P 6:00-7:00P 7:00-8:00P Res Fee $5 - Fee $8 Location: Cheney Mansion Min 4/Max 15 Supervisor: Susan Crane Treats with Santa Wednesday, Dec 16 Every half hour from 5:00-7:30P Join the holiday countdown at Cheney Mansion with a jar full of fun! Change your name from "naughty" to "nice" before it is too late. Santa will give you a packaged treat before he embarks on his annual journey around the world. Bring your wish list, your camera and snap a socially-distanced selfie with jolly old Saint Nick. Santa will read a store before you go so don't forget your Holiday cheer! A suggested $2 donation or non-perishable food item is requested for entry. is is a free event; however, in order to comply with CDC guidelines registration for a visiting time is necessary. All Ages Location: Cheney Mansion Min 6/Max 90 Supervisor: Susan Crane Little Helpers Workshop Saturday, Dec 19, 10:30-11:30A Santa has asked the Park District Elves for some helping hands to make sure he is ready for his big night of deliveries. Participants will rotate through stations including cras, holiday stories and making Santa his cookies to pack in his sleigh. Is your little helper ready for the Holiday season? is is a drop-off program so if you have a last minute errand to run, we need your little elf ! Ages 4-7 Res Fee $10 - Fee $13 Location: Cheney Mansion Min 4/Max 30 Supervisor: Susan Crane Visual Bedtime Story with Santa Tuesday, Dec 22, 7:00-8:00P Who wouldn't want Santa to read them a bedtime story right before his big night! Put on your pjs, and turn on your laptop, ipad, phone or even plug into your TV and get ready to listen to some Holiday stories from the big man himself. We will send you the login info the day of the event.
