Belt testing is not mandatory but encouraged for advancement. Participants will be introduced to aikido techniques and philosophy and will focus on breathing and posture, conditioning exercises, etiquette, and learning to roll and fall properly. Learning basic aikido movements should also be useful to participants in their daily lives. Min 6/Max 15 Continuing Aikido Supervisor: Chad Drue Are you ready for a rigorous martial arts program? is course requires the completion of the Beginners Aikido course and the instructor's consent. e focus will be on the requirements for rank testing; the pace is aerobic. Min 6/Max 15 Advanced Aikido Supervisor: Chad Drue Admission to this course requires instructor's permission. e focus is on advanced body arts and Aikido weapons. Students must have taken a Continuing Aikido class. Min 6/Max 15 Adult Karate Supervisor: Chad Drue Our adult classes release tension, develop total body fitness and build stamina and overall productivity. In addition to self-defense skills, karate increases flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and muscle tone, while improving core strength. Min 1/Max 22 Adult Tae Kwon Do Supervisor: Chad Drue Restricted to high school students and older, this program concentrates on Taekwondo techniques through the study of forms, stances, and the skills of punching, kicking and blocking. is is a great program for those looking to maintain and improve their physical fitness. Min 5/Max 15 Brazilian Jiujitsu/Judo Supervisor: Chad Drue In a fun and safe environment, students train in the highly effective martial art of Brazilian Jiujitsu and Judo. Since 90% of physical attacks end on the ground, you learn how to effectively stop and/ or defend an attack in this program. Students become more physically fit and learn whole body coordination, safe falling, self defense techniques, tumbling and grappling. Min 8/Max 20
