New! Camps for Curious Minds
Keep your brain active and have fun this summer at one of our camps for curious minds!
Each week we will dig into a different scientific discipline. From outdoor experiments
and laboratory tests to lesson plans and lectures, these unique all day camps will seriously
satisfy your curious mind!
Extended Camp begins immediately following day camp and runs from
3 - 6pm. is camp runs similar to our aer school programs—without the homework
time! Snack, free-time, planned small and large group activities extend your campers day.
New! Bonus Week – Play Smart
Do you love art, science and cooking? en what better way to spend the week before
school starts than combining all three to play smart? Keep your brain active by spending
the week making beautiful masterpieces, conducting awesome science experiments and
preparing and cooking some delicious treats! Choose from the day camp, 8am-3pm, or
extended day camp, 8am-6pm.

New! Day Camp for District 97 Summer School Students
e Park District and D97 are teaming up to provide a full-day camp option for
summer school students. Register for Day Camp (12-3pm) and your student can
seamlessly transition from class to camp on-site at Holmes School. Participants will
spend their aernoons playing games and making cras with other campers. ree
days a week they will visit the pool. eme weeks and activities will add to the fun!
Extended Camp (3-6pm) option will also be available.
Students who qualify for Summer School will receive more information on how to
register for Day Camp and Extended Camp from District 97. Registration will open
in the Spring.
