You and your child will interact during guided activities highlighting a different topic each month and facilitated by FOPCON volunteer docents. Come ready to have fun and learn about nature with your child. Space is limited to 22 children. Pre- registration required. Please enter through main door ten minutes before session. Art, music, and stories will be part of the fun as participants gain an appreciation for other cultures. is is an introductory class that will involve repetition to increase exposure, comprehension, and connections to everyday activities that are familiar to our learners. Min 6/Max 12 Lights, Camera, Action! Supervisor: Barb Grooms Does your child like to take the stage? Are they always singing, dancing, twirling, or pretending? Well, send them to us each Wednesday! Each week, your child will be given props and costumes while they explore the art of acting and improvisation with friends. ey will have the opportunity to be creative, while developing communication and cooperation skills. e possibilities are endless! Min 6/Max 10 Dinosaur Explore Supervisor: Barb Grooms Dig into dinosaur facts. Carnivore or herbivore? Biped or quadruped? Jurassic or Cretaceous? In this class we listen to stories, play games, and create dino-art projects. Participants will record their research as they make their own dinosaur fact books to take home and read to their families. All junior paleontologists welcome! Min 6/Max 10 Yes...and? Improv Supervisor: Megan Ulczak and Barb Grooms Wanna be a famous singer? Or an astronaut in space? Or a famous singing astronaut in space? en improvisation is for you. In this class kids will learn the building blocks of improv like listening, supporting your partner and the concept of "Yes, and". Fun games and exercises will be played to develop social skills, teamwork and self-confidence. e kids will learn how to have fun working together. It is a great opportunity for them to meet new friends.
