Creative Cooking Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Creative Cooking offers life skills and artwork all wrapped into one awesome class! One-day culinary workshops are designed for students to explore their creativity in the kitchen! A different theme and recipe (or two!) will be introduced in each workshop. While the food cooks, bakes, or simmers, our little chefs with enjoy additional art and/or games during those times. Each child will go home with their recipes to share with the entire family. June 8 - Carnival July 20 - Beach August 17 - Dog Days Min 6/Max 12 Youth Video Game Club Supervisor: Lucie Harrison Does your child love video games but wants to know what exists beyond Minecra and Mario Bros.? Send them to Game Club. Every month we bring in a wide assortment of games and consoles, new and old, for elementary-aged kids. It's a way to try new games and meet other kid gamers. Min 5/Max 20 Try It Archery Supervisor: Leah Pryor Ready...aim...BULLSEYE! Stop by for this one- day program to dabble at the sport of archery. Instruction and practice time will be provided! Min 2/Max 6 Try-it: Open Studio Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Want to give ceramics a try? Join us for an introduction to wheel and hand building techniques, discovery and exploration. No take home projects in this class, as it is purely an exploration workshop. July 19 & August 23 Min 2/Max 6 Chess Workshop Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Chess! e ultimate game of strategy. is fun workshop is designed for players who already know the basic chess moves. e workshop will include fun interactive learning as well as a mini- tournament with prizes. Join us while we discover a unique world in multicultural art. You will leave with a better understanding of the diverse world around you along with your handmade piece of art! June 15 - Ethiopia July 27 - Spain August 24 - Australia Min 5/Max 20 You Say It's Your Birthday? Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Everyone loves a birthday party! Come celebrate with us as we recognize famous artists in the month they were born. We will create our own artwork. You will be inspired by works produced throughout their career and might enjoy a sweet treat, as well!
