You are invited to the celebration as we cut the birthday cake and flip the switch to mark the completion of many new sustainable features recently installed at the Conservatory. As a result of over 1,000 sustainability pledges from our community, Green Mountain Energy Sun Club donated $100,000 towards solar panels, bee hives, a compost tea system, and 5 cisterns. Join us for kids activities, tours, and fun giveaways as we celebrate 90 years and look forward to 90 more! Enjoy an evening of music, food and drink outdoors at the Oak Park Conservatory. Actors will bring the stories of past residents of Cheney Mansion to life, illustrated by photos and artifacts, to give you a feel of how this grand Mansion came to be and its relationship to the history of Oak Park. You will also receive 2 drink tickets and we will have appetizers to keep you energized as you walk through your tour. 40% of your ticket price will go to support the new Oak Park and River Forest Museum located at 129 Lake Street, Oak Park.
