Stamping & Card Making

Show thanks, appreciation, and your creativity in
this stamping and card making class or workshop.
A variety of materials, papers, stamps, stencils, and
tools will be used. All skill levels welcome.

Looking to try some of the exciting new board or
card games? Join us for a night of good conversation
and fun in the beautiful Pleasant Home Library. We
bring the games, you bring the stories and laughter.
Games may vary. Own a good game? Bring it along.
Free to Active Adult Members.

Sew Easy
Supervisor: Megan Ulczak
Learn basic stitching, cutting fabric, sewing straight
lines, and the best practices for sewing. We will
complete several small projects that may include
pillowcases, tote bags, place mats, and aprons.
Sewing machines are not provided; however,
participants are welcome to bring one in, along with
basic sewing supplies (scissors, pins and thread).
Fabric for first project is supplied and participants
will receive a supply list for remaining classes.

living room. A themed lunch is provided as you
enjoy the featured film of the day. FREE to Active

Warm up your home or make a sweet gi for a loved
one! Join us as we create seasonal decor to adorn
any home. Sip on a glass of wine while you design a
piece to fit your style using materials and planning
support provided by the Park District. All skill levels
welcome!

Art in the Park

Spend an evening this summer with one of our
experienced art instructors finding the perfect spot
in our park to create art. Each month, we will take
our art supplies to another Park District space to
observe, relax, and create in the great outdoors. e
instructor will support and guide instruction as you
select your subject matter for your unique piece.
Materials will vary. All materials included. Feel free
to bring your own if you'd like.
