Supervisor: Susan Crane Enjoy a summer evening sampling the music of the Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest on the grounds of Cheney Mansion. e Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest is the country's oldest community symphony and have performed all around the Chicagoland area. Cheney Mansion will provide some seating on our lawn or bring a blanket and spread out to soak up the sounds. Your registration will include 2 glasses of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage per person registered. Cheney Mansion will also provide an assortment of appetizers and fruit to enjoy before or aer the concert. Entry will be through the front gate where your drink tickets will be handed out. Min 25/Max 200 Art after Dark Supervisor: Megan Ulczak e middle of the week can be rough. Take a night off from the usual and join us for a night of creativity and history. Art aer Dark starts with a fascinating look at a bit of art history followed by an opportunity to make a piece of your own. A glass of wine and light snacks are included. All art enthusiasts welcome! Oak Park Brewery will also be on hand serving their delicious beers to pair with the sausage and summer! Enjoy festive music on the patio and enjoy the Cheney grounds. In the event of rain, we will move the tasting indoors to Cheney's beautiful interior! Two drink tickets are included. Min 20/Max 75 A Living History Tour of Cheney Mansion Supervisor: Susan Crane Join the Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest for an evening of exploring the history of Cheney Mansion. Actors will bring the stories of past residents of Cheney Mansion to life, illustrated by photos and artifacts, to give you a feel of how this grand Mansion came to be and its relationship to the history of Oak Park. You will also receive 2 drink tickets and we will have appetizers to keep you energized as you walk through your tour. 40% of your ticket price will go to support the new Oak Park and River Forest Museum located at 129 Lake Street, Oak Park.
