Tai Chi Colleagues (Ages 18+)
Fridays, 10:30-11:30A at Ridgeland Common
Are you enrolled in a Tai Chi class or done Tai Chi in the past? Join
fellow students to refine and practice your skills. Minimal instruction
is provided in this program. Program is FREE for Active Adult
Members, $2 for Oak Park Residents and $3 for Non-Residents.

Meet us under the sun for our annual Fitness in the Parks outdoor
Spring/Summer wellness program. Join us Thursday evenings at
7:00P at Cheney Mansion to unwind, relax, slow your breath, and
focus on the present during our yoga class. Saturday mornings
8:00A at Rehm Park will focus on total body conditioning and

Wellness Special Classes
Fit Mom
Introducing a new postpartum exercise class for mothers that want to learn techniques
for correcting and improving posture, mobility and muscle activation after having a baby.
The course will include considerations for mothers that have experienced caesarean
delivery, diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, and other common topics associated
with birthing and caring for a small child. This is a great place to get moving with other
new moms! Classes are held Wednesdays 6:30-7:15P at RCRC from July 24-August 28.

Walk with a Doc
Every 3rd Saturday - March 16, April 20, May 18, June 15,
July 20, August 17, September 21, October 19 & November 16
Take a step towards better health. Join your doctor and other
people looking to improve their health by walking 30 minutes each
day. Location: Lindberg Park, 1151 North Marion Street
Fit & Strong
Fit & Strong is an exercise/behavior change program for older
adults with lower extremity osteoarthritis. Class includes 60-minutes
of exercise, and 30-minutes of group discussion/health education.
