10 www.pdop.org Meet Nancy Wisti Grayson (le) and Helen Schmucker (right) who joined the Park District team this fall from the Senior Citizen Center of Oak Park River Forest. Nancy and Helen are the co-coordinators of Active Adult programming at Dole Center. In addition to coordinator duties, Helen also instructs the knitting, sewing and weaving classes. Nancy instructs the cell phone and history classes. Additionally, they are both working artists in our community. We welcome you to try one of their many classes, or you can stop by Dole Center Monday through ursday between 9:30A-3:00P to talk to Nancy or Helen and learn more about the variety of opportunities at Dole Center or to make a suggestion or two! Strength exercises include upper and lower body with special attention on the core muscles to improve strength and flexibility. Some Like It Light: Exercise with hand-held weights to help prevent and reduce osteoporosis.
