78 www.pdop.org camps Spring Break camps Ceramics Camp Monday-Friday, Mar 23-27, 9:00-12:00P is morning camp gives your child time to get creative with friends in a studio environment. Registration includes clay, glazes, and time on one of our six pottery wheels. Spend your time away from school getting your ceramics on! (5 classes) Ages 9-15 Res Fee $200 - Fee $220 Location: Dole Center - Ceramics Studio Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Chess Camp Monday-Friday, Mar 23-27, 9:00-12:00P Designed for both beginners and experienced young players. Participants will learn cool new strategies at the appropriate level from a renowned chess scholars coach. Class will consist of fun, interactive teaching periods and guided practice times. Everyone will have an opportunity to test for a chess belt under a unique Chess Scholars system patterned aer martial arts belts. A chess competition will follow with prizes. Each camper will take home a chess set and an award. Please bring your own snack. All skating levels (figure or hockey) are welcome, whether your child is a seasoned pro or just looking to give it a try! Skates are included in the camp and free hockey gear rental is available for hockey camp participants 3-10 yrs of age. Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment. ere are no prerequisites for this course. Players will work on first touch and ball control in a fast, dynamic and fun environment. It will include individual possession, 1v1's, 2v2's and other small sided games that will be progressed over the course of the week. It is a great way to sharpen your soccer skills prior to the Spring Season whether you play travel, AYSO or recreational soccer. Keep your brain active by spending the day making beautiful masterpieces, conducting awesome science experiments, and preparing and cooking some delicious treats! Each day's schedule is packed with a daily field trip or in-house entertainment, high energy games, unique cras, and a combination of structure and self-directed activities to keep your child engaged.
