17 www.pdop.org Family Programs Residents and non-residents are invited to enjoy the Park District of Oak Park's two off-leash dog parks below. Your four-legged friends can expend energy, exercising and socializing with other dogs in a safe and healthy environment, while you socialize with other permit holders who share your love of dogs. Dog Park Locations: • Ridgeland Common Dog Park (415 Lake Street) • Maple Park (1105 S. Maple Avenue) Prerequisites Permits are required to use dog parks. To apply for a Dog Park Permit, owners must provide proof of a valid village dog license receipt in the village of your residency, including the license number. Additionally, proof of vaccinations for the current year, including Rabies, Distemper, Kennel Cough/Bordetella, Para-influenza and Parvovirus are required. Proof of a negative fecal test for intestinal parasites within the last year must also be provided at the time of registration. Park District Dog Park Permits While facilities are closed due to COVID-19, all dog park permit documentation mentioned above should be emailed to info@pdop.org. Residents must provide proof of residency. Non-resident pass sales are limited to the first 200 purchasers in a 12-month period. Permits are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Dog Park Permit Required for Park Entry Dog parks use a key card access system. Members must bring their permit card to access the parks. Dog parks are maintained and inspected by Park District staff. Dog owners, who are not in compliance with dog park rules and requirements, may be subject to fines, as well as dismissal from dog park use. Sign up with our certified archery instructor who will encourage and coach all ages and levels! Classes will take place indoors with new safety protocols in place. A max of four participants will shoot at a time while the others wait at a distance. Participants may not be able to shoot with a mask, so we will assign strictly marked shooting lanes, where we have a gap of two lanes between participants. Anyone not shooting, including instructors, will be masked. All Family Members must be registered individually to ensure we are in line with capacity limits. Ages 7+ Res Fee $74 - Fee $94 Location: Fox Center Supervisor: Mike Loszach Try It Archery Sunday, August 9, 10:00-11:00A or 11:30A-12:30P Ready...aim...BULLSEYE! Stop by for this one-day program to dabble at the sport of archery. Instruction, practice will be provided! Classes will take place indoors with new safety protocols in place.
