Players will go through a tutorial of the game and rules for the tournament before competing for the grand prize! Ages 11-15 Per Session: Res Fee $5 - Fee $8 Location: Dole Center Supervisor: Lucie Harrison Teen Yoga for Anxiety (Outdoors) Wednesdays, Jul 8-22, 10:15-11:15A For teens experiencing uncertainty, anxiety, or fear in your own life or the world at large, come to this three- week workshop series to learn tools and movement to feel calmer and more grounded in the midst of chaos. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. Bring your water bottle, a yoga mat or beach towel, and anything else you might need to be comfortable outdoors. Ages 12-18 yrs Res Fee $38 - Fee $51 Location: Lindberg Park Supervisor: Genevieve Garcia Youth Fitness (Outdoors) Mondays, Jul 6-27, 5:30-6:25P Saturdays, Jul 11-Aug 1, 9:00-9:55A is class will be an electrifying 55-minute workout focusing on simple clean and repetitious movements that promote muscle strength, flexibility, and overall internal healing/ injury prevention by creating a strong system mentally and physically. Ages 6-12 yrs Res Fee $51 - Fee $68 Location: Longfellow Park (Mondays); Taylor Park (Saturdays) Supervisor: Genevieve Garcia Safe Sitter Essentials - Virtual Monday-ursday, 6:00-6:45P Tuesday-Friday, 6:00-6:45P Jul 13-16 • Aug 11-14 Featuring updated curriculum from Safe Sitter Inc.! Safe Sitter prepares students to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who is choking, and helpful information like what to do if there's severe weather. e lessons are filled with fun activities and role- playing exercises. A pizza lunch is included! Safe Sitter course content: Safety Skills: Students learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Child Care Skills: Students learn tips to manage behavior that will help them stay in control of themselves and the children in their care. Students also learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering. Life & Business Skills: e ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students practice these skills through various role plays.
