We will go through the process of illustrating for children's books, chapter books and cover art. We will go through the full breadth of creating images for publishing, including how to take an idea from a sketch to a finished product, how to lay out ideas in a dummy book, plus a wide variety of tools and techniques to experiment with. In addition, learn about the ins and outs of the publishing industry, especially in terms of getting involved and how to do so.
