All participants will learn cool new strategies from a renowned Chess Scholars coach. Children will have an opportunity to test for a Chess Belt® patterned aer martial arts belts. Each camper will take home a chess set and an award. Ninja's with LEGO ® Calling all gamers! Have a blast creating robotic games each week while learning about robotics. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, programming, and pulleys as they create fun to play games. Whether creating a robotic hockey player, pinball machine, or a ring toss, your child is sure to have fun building, learning, and playing Amusement Park Adventure with LEGO ® We bet your child loves going to amusement parks to experience the variety of fast, dropping, and spinning rides, but have they ever thought about the science that goes into building those rides and the people who are responsible for designing them? In Snapology's Amusement Park Engineering class, students will become engineers of their own amusement park rides and will learn the core physics and engineering concepts used to make a ride thrilling! Planes, Trains, & Automobiles with LEGO ® In Snapology's Planes, Trains, and Automobiles program, children will explore the world of transportation. Students will build models of their favorite forms of transportation as they learn about energy, wheels and axles, air resistance, and more. ey will also learn about the history and modern use of these vehicles, and apply this knowledge to their builds. Incredible Inventions with LEGO ® Whoever said you couldn't solve the world's problems with LEGO® bricks? Learn a little about the process real inventors go through to create new inventions while you help design, build, and program robotic machines to solve problems. Register for the grade your child will be entering in Fall 2021. *Prices increase May 1, 2021 Let's Build It Camp is camp takes a hands-on approach to engineering, allowing students to directly engage with basic engineering concepts through a variety of fun and educational activities. Students will improve their problem solving, math, and physics skills – all while engaging in exciting building projects.
