65 www.pdop.org gymnastics Spring 2021 Registration The GRC follows the guidelines of the USAG Developmental Program. Students will learn a progressive skill curriculum with an emphasis on safety and fun. This 9-week spring session will run from April 5 through June 6. No classes will be held on Memorial Day, May 31. Classes this spring normally scheduled for 80 minutes will be scheduled for 75 minutes and most Gym Kids classes are scheduled for 45 minutes. This is to provide time in between groups for facility sanitation and wellness screenings prior to the start of the next class. Some previously used apparatus, as well as the foam pit, will not be available for use due to the difficulty in sanitizing this equipment. All gymnasts are required to wear a face covering during class, bring a small personal bottle of hand sanitizer, bring a full water bottle, bring an extra face covering, and bring a brown paper lunch bag to put their used face covering in if they needed to change it out to their extra one. All of these items are to be placed in a small back pack that will need to be brought to and from every class at the GRC. Waitlists: If your desired class is full, please add yourself to the waitlist through SmartRec by Amilia registration. If an open spot becomes available, you will receive an email giving you 24 hours to register for the open spot before we move to the next participant on the list. Class Change Request: If you have enrolled in a class and would like to move to another class, please e-mail your class request including the participants name to gymnastics@pdop.org Spectator Viewing: At this time in Phase 4, GRC spectator viewing is highly discouraged. Tots classes will need an adult in order to participate. Adults who bring gymnasts to the Gym Kids classes will be able to enter the GRC in order to help their child. All viewing area furniture has been removed. Arriving: Upon arrival for every class, parents and participants must be wearing a face covering. A wellness assessment will be needed prior to every class. If you or your child isn't feeling well, please stay home. Arriving Late: If your class has already started, please ring the doorbell. Dismissal: If you dropped your child off upon arrival, please wait outside for pick-up after class. Dismissal will be by class, lead by the coach. Refund Policy: Refunds must be requested at least 48 hours prior to a program starting in order to get a refund less a $10 service fee. If requesting a refund 48 hours prior to the second program class, it will be reduced by a $10 service fee plus the cost of the first class. No class refunds will be given less than 48 hours prior to the start of the second program class. Make-up Policy: If a class is missed, please e-mail gymnastics@pdop.org for a rebate code to enter when pre-registering for Playtime or Open Gym so you are able to attend for FREE. Class for class make-ups are not offered. Programs not scheduled this Spring due to the importance of face covering requirements and 6ft. physical distancing for the well-being of participants and staff: Birthday Parties GYM RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES!
