Ages 18+ Location: Oak Park Conservatory Supervisor: Patti Staley Plant Container Drop-off Day Saturday, Sep 11, 9:30A-12:30P Reduce Reuse Recycle! Help keep plastic out of the landfills by bringing your plastic plant containers to our recycling drop-off event! Please Note: Plant containers must meet the following criteria: • 4.5" round or 4" square plastic container • 1-gallon perennial plastic container Location: Oak Park Conservatory Bulb Planting for Spring Blooms 101 ursday, Sep 16 , 7:00-8:00P Join bulb experts and learn the basics of planting fall bulbs for spring blooms. Participants will learn when and how to plants bulbs, how to select bulbs for your garden, and how many you need. Ask your questions on growing bulbs and how to get started. A zoom link will be sent out to participants in advance of the program to attend. Registration required. Ages 18+ Location: Virtual Supervisor: Patti Staley Take Home Tet (Virtual) Fridays, 9:30-10:00A Sep 17 • Oct 15 • Nov 19 Requires advance pick up of materials. Young learners will be delighted with stories, lessons, and cras led virtually by our education docents. Participants will pick up a cra bag from the Conservatory with all the pieces needed to complete the cra. On Friday, we will join together virtually to make the project during the Take-Home TET Lesson. Tania will introduce you to the beauty of dahlias and discuss the planting, growing conditions, and harvesting of this unique flower.
