You have just booked that perfect venue for your
special event and are faced with hiring a caterer.
Where do you start? What questions do you ask?
What is included in their services and how do I
decide on a menu? Join us for insights from our event
team in the Park District to answer these questions
and guide you through the ins and outs of working
with a catering company. We will have a snack and
enjoy a glass of wine or beer while you take notes
and listen to shared experiences.

spiritualism, so join us at Pleasant Home along
with professional ghost hunters Jason Sherman and
Jack Chavez for an evening exploring spiritualism
in the Victorian age. Pleasant Home is the perfect
setting to learn the history of spiritualism and then
have demonstrations on how mediums might
have contacted spirits and maybe even contact the
spirits residing at Pleasant Home and Mills Park!
Appetizers and two drink tickets are included in your

ChiTown Gangsters: Gangsters in
the Western Suburbs

John Binder will discuss the history of organized
crime in the near western suburbs. He covers the
multitude of criminal activities that occured in
various municipalities just west of Chicago from
before Prohibition to present day as well as where
prominent mobsters lived and the influence they had
in their communities. Ages 21+
