We'll provide the supplies, example, and instruction to complete a simple but recognizable portrait of our fair city. In this class, participants will be instructed on how to create a bold watercolor portrait of an animal of their choosing using some tricks to simplify the image and watercolors to add a flash of color. Refurbish some 3x5 books to hold recipes, playing/sports cards, or poetry. Create a dream/wish/goal book or a garden guide to all your plants! We have all the supplies to change these albums into something fun, creative, and useful! Any program in which multiple generations engage in the same learning experience. is is easily done through our Intergenerational arts classes and workshops which aim to connect generations through the creative process in a fun and welcoming environment. Studies have shown that these types of programs improve health and social connectivity for adults participating in arts/ intergenerational programs and an increased understanding of aging for youth.
