Residents and non-residents are invited to enjoy the
Park District of Oak Park's two off-leash dog parks
below. Your four-legged friends can expend energy,
exercising and socializing with other dogs in a safe
and healthy environment, while you socialize with
other permit holders who share your love of dogs.
Dog Park Locations:
• Ridgeland Common Dog Park (415 Lake Street)
• Maple Park (1105 S. Maple Avenue)
Prerequisites
Permits are required to use dog parks. To apply for
a Dog Park Permit, owners must provide proof of a
valid village dog license receipt in the village of your
residency, including the license number. Additionally,
proof of vaccinations for the current year, including
Rabies, Distemper, Kennel Cough/Bordetella, Para-
influenza and Parvovirus are required. Proof of a
negative fecal test for intestinal parasites within the last
year must also be provided at the time of registration.
Park District Dog Park Permits
All dog park permit documentation mentioned above
should be emailed to info@pdop.org. Non-resident
pass sales are limited to the first 200 purchasers in a
12-month period. Permits are valid for one year from
the date of purchase.
Dog Park Permit Required for Park

Dog parks use a key card access system. Members
must bring their permit card to access the parks. Dog
parks are maintained and inspected by Park District
staff. Dog owners, who are not in compliance with
dog park rules and requirements, may be subject to
