Mindful Meditation
Fridays, Apr 1-Aug 12, 11:00A-12:00P
Join us for a late morning meditation. Begin with a
discussion on mindful meditative practices, what
it is, how it works, and its benefits. Finish with
a guided exercise in short breathing meditation
and a discussion aerwards. Enjoy an open,
nonjudgmental, and nurturing space for anyone
interested in mindfulness. Ages 50+

group of your peers? Bookworms may be the best
fit. Book titles are chosen at the beginning of the
year and posted on our Active Adult webpage. e
group meets on the last ursday of each month.
Space is limited so registration is required to join the
discussion. Participation is flexible, sign up month to

soware. Each class recording will be sent to all
registered students so that they do not have to attend
at the exact designated time. Follow-up support is
also included from the instructor and students are
encouraged to reach out with questions at any time

Senior Mental Health Day
Tuesday, May 17, 11:00A-12:00P
Join Duly Health and Care for a presentation on
Senior Mental Health. Mental health issues are a
prevalent concern in aging adults. is presentation
will cover the different mental health issues among
seniors, such as depression and anxiety, and how to
address these concerns with a caregiver or physician.
e event will conclude with different mental health
exercises that members can practice at home.

Senior Self-Defense Class
Tuesday, Jun 21, 11:00A-12:00P
Although seniors may be the group least likely to be
involved in a physical altercation, the effect of an
attack is much greater on this group than others. For
that reason, it is important for seniors to be able
to deescalate a situation and ward off a possible
attacker. Join Duly Health and Care for a Senior Self-
Defense class to learn how to best protect yourself at
all times. Ages 50+
