In this super fun class, kids learn fundamental programming concepts including loops, conditionals, and variables by creating a variety of games and adventures! Kids marvel at how they can program Scratch to play baseball, program a dragon to fly around the world, and go surfing using math! is intro to coding forms a solid foundation which can be used in other advanced programming languages. Grades 3-5 Res Fee $382 - Fee $402 Location: Dole Center - Multipurpose Room Class does not meet: 1/16,2/20 AI Gaming & Machine Learning Mondays, Jan 2-Mar 20, 7:00-8:00P Saturdays, Jan 14-Mar 18, 11:00A-12:00P Have you ever wondered how Alexa can understand and respond to you? Or how enemies in video games can work together to try and beat the player? Or even how Google can guess what you are searching for before you finish typing? In this course, students learn introductory concepts of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Kids will use concepts (including augmented reality, simulated learning and functions, and AI behaviors) to create fast-paced interactive games such as Fruit Ninja, Chatbots, and AI Pets! Grade 6-8 Res Fee $382 - Fee $402 Location: Dole Center - Multipurpose Room Class does not meet: 1/16,2/20 Real World Robotics Fridays, 6:30-7:30P Jan 6-Feb 10 • Feb 17-Mar 24 In Snapology's Real World Robotics class, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life robotic technologies. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors, robotic arms, and much more. Your child will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn, and play. Ages 7-14 Res Fee $123 - Fee $143 Location: Dole Center - Studio 2 Kinder Robotics Saturdays, 10:00-11:00A Jan 7-Feb 11 • Feb 18-March 25 Children will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design.
