Native Seeds: Fall Planting

It's September, but that doesn't mean it's too late to
garden. In fact, we're right on time! is talk will
teach you how some native seeds need to be planted
in the fall in order to bloom in the spring, and get to
take home some seeds of your own! Ages 7+

World Manta Day

Today's the day to celebrate everyone's favorite sea
pancakes! We're learning about manta rays, why
they're so cool, and what we can do to protect them
even though they live so far away. We'll make some
mini-rays of our own to take home, too! Ages 4-9

National Marine Sanctuary
Owl Pellet Dissection
Friday, Sept 30, 6:30-8:00P
Did you know owls eat their prey whole? ey can't
digest the bones, so they spit them back up in a pellet
– gross! We're going to investigate what owls eat by
dissecting these (sterilized) pellets, and seeing what
kind of skeleton we can uncover. Whatever bones you
find, you can take home! Ages 7+

witchy recipes and maybe make a few of our own!
