No Alcohol In accordance with Park District Ordinance 7.23, no alcoholic liquor, intoxicating substances or other drugs are allowed on Park District property. ank you for cooperating. No guns No guns are allowed in our parks or facilities. Only Water Allowed on Turf Fields at RCRC, Irving School, Julian Middle School and Brooks Middle School Water is the only consumable allowed on the turf field. No other drinks or food are permitted. is includes chewing gum, candies, seeds, oranges, Gatorade, juice, etc. Food and drink other than water will stain the turf and will cause unsanitary conditions. Bikes in Our Parks No person may ride a bicycle within any park facility where the use of bicycles is posted as prohibited. No person may use a bicycle at any time in a manner that interferes with or threatens any other person. No Skateboarding Skateboarding is prohibited on park benches, monuments, or other park features as posted. No private tennis lessons allowed on Park District tennis courts. According to Park District Ordinance, no person shall conduct any private instruction, lesson, or class in any Park Facility at any time except as previously approved by the Park District. About Dogs in our Parks For the safety of our patrons, dogs are not allowed in Park District playgrounds unless serving as a service animal. Dogs are allowed in our regular parks as long as they are on a leash which is no longer than 8 feet at all times. Please kindly pick up waste from your pet. We are asking for your help and cooperation in keeping our parks clean and safe through our Carry In/Carry Out program. You simply need to carry out all waste and recyclables you bring into the park. Basically leave the park the way you found it. It's that simple. Walking is a great way to get some exercise. e only equipment you need are your legs and walking shoes!
