Seed Swap Sunday, Jan 29, 10:00A-12:00P Join us at the Oak Park Conservatory on National Seed Swap Day to honor the great U.S. tradition of swapping seeds with neighbors. Browse a selection of herbs, vegetables, floral, perennial and native seeds. We will have Master Gardeners on hand to guide you in getting your garden off to a good start! Please label seed donations with the variety, source, and year when possible. Seed Sowing Lecture Sunday, Jan 29, 9:00-10:00A Join us for a seed sowing lectures an hour prior to the Seed Swap! Registration required. Letters to Santa at Oak Park Conservatory December 2-22 Visit Oak Park Conservatory to drop off your letter to Santa in our Santa Express mailbox located! Print stationary from our website at oakparkconservatory.org. Shop the Oak Park Conservatory's Winter Greens Market for a selection of winter greens for your home. An array of fresh greens including balsam, fir, boxwood, winter berries, magnolia tips, spruce tops and more will be available along with many other natural items for your winter decoration needs! Tuesday-Sunday, 10:00A-4:00P November 18-December 18 Candlelight Walk Friday, Saturday, & Sunday December 2, 3 & 4, 5:30-7:30P Enjoy the beauty of the season with a Candlelight Walk. Children can have a magical experience seeing Santa in our greenhouse in Mrs. Claus' holiday garden and have their photo taken with Santa amongst the beautiful poinsettias. Drop your wishlist in his mailbox and receive a special pre-packaged gi from Santa! Shop our Winter Greens Market outside in our garden and poinsettia sale. Registration is required in advance. All Ages Res Fee $9 - Fee $12 Winter Greens Containers Saturday, Dec 3, 9:00-10:30A Winter porch pots are beautiful and easy to put together. Join our horticulturist for a fun morning of creating your own winter greens outdoor container. Each participant will take home a cold weather, outdoor container arrangement and discover inspiration to help you decide which boughs of greenery, branches, and accessories to gather for your arrangement.
