Chicago Fire FC
Classes are the perfect opportunity for girls and boys of all abilities to develop their soccer ability and their
love for the game! Working with professional coaches from Chicago Fire FC, our classes focus on technical
development and social-emotional learning, to elevate children as both players and people
3-5 year old age groups:
Children will explore their capabilities to learn fundamental soccer skills (dribbling, passing, catching and
throwing), develop fundamental movement skills (agility, balance, coordination and speed), and experience
key social and emotional attributes (listening, communication, self-esteem, awareness and teamwork)
Little Sparks is unique in that it incorporates mom and/or dad into the child's learning experience.
With the support of mom and/or dad, children are able to truly be comfortable and express themselves in
order to maximize each session. is experience will not only strengthen the parent-child bond, but also
elevate each child's enjoyment and development in order to maximize each session.
Little Sparks Plus (5 years old):
Specifically designed for 5-year-old children, Little Sparks Plus bridges the imagination and creativity of
Little Sparks with the structure and team-building of the 4v4 soccer game model. Little Sparks Plus uses
some of the same key principles as Little Sparks (experiential play and imaginative learning) to build
an environment for children to learn and explore different outcomes associated with soccer and self-
development. Unlike Little Sparks, Little Sparks Plus evolves its focus from self-awareness to social-
awareness – instead of parent participation, players start to learn how to interact with other peers to gain
confidence in building relationships and to understand how to work as a team.
