Join the Park District of Oak Park on your day
off from school! On select days when District 97
students are off, we've got some activities planned
that you can sign up for! Spend your day off with
us: laughing, exploring, and trying something
new! Regular care is offered from 8:00A-3:00P and
extended care is offered from 8:00A-6:00P

Play Smart Winter Break Camp

Do you love art, science and cooking? What better
way to spend your winter break than by combining
all three to play smart! Keep your brain active by
spending the day making beautiful masterpieces,
conducting awesome science experiments and
preparing and cooking some delicious treats! Regular
care is offered from 8:00A-3:00P and extended care is
offered from 8:00A-6:00P. (6 classes) Ages 5-12

How the Grinch Stole Bricks

In this Snapology workshop, students will immerse
themselves in the town of Whoville and the story of
the Grinch! ey will design machines to help the
Grinch with his sneaky mission to ruin Christmas,
build the city of Whoville, and create sleds to get from
the top of Mt. Crumpit to the city of Whoville! No
matter what the Grinch says, it's going to be a blast!

Fortnite

Does your child love Fortnite™? Is there a game they
just can't seem to get enough of ? In this Snapology
workshop, children will explore their favorite
Fortnite™ adventures by using LEGO® bricks and
creating interactive games! Children will be fully
immersed in this gameplay and game design of
Fortnite™!

Chess Scholars Winter Break
Camp
Tuesday-Friday, De 27-30, 9:00A-12:00P
Develop your child's intellect through the royal game
of Chess! is half-day camp is perfect for beginners
as well as experienced players. Each day of camp will
consist of a fun interactive teaching period, followed
by guided practice time, allowing the students to
play against one another while being coached by
an experienced instructor. e camp session will
conclude with a non-elimination tournament.

Holiday Escape Snapology
Wednesday, Dec 28, 9:00A-12:00P
In this workshop, your child and their team will have
45 minutes to discover clues, solve puzzles, answer
riddles, and manipulate contraptions to complete
the assigned tasks and to ultimately unlock the box
to escape Snapology! Using math skills, and critical
thinking skills, students will be required to work
together to succeed in escaping Snapology.

In Santa's Creator Club, young children will
participate in various creative play activities designed
to promote the creative, social, and expressive skills
of children, all done around a fun Christmas theme.
You will be amazed at the improvement you will see
in your child's fine motor skills aer just one visit to
Snapology. ey will also have tons of fun getting in

to building a 3-D character skin, children will be
fully immersed in the gameplay and game design of
Roblox™! Ages 5-12
