RESIDENT REGISTRATION OPENS Saturday, February 4 at 8:30am 28 LEGO CAMPS CONTACT: Megan Ulczak | megan.ulczak@pdop.org | (708) 725-2106 Snapology Favorites Participants will learn the basic science behind slime and learn how the magic is all in the ingredients. ey will make their own fidget spinners and how to use them. Campers will discover clues, solve puzzles, answer riddles, and manipulate contraptions in order to complete any assigned tasks to unlock the door to escape Snapoplgy. Campers finish with exploring the world of robotics! Grumpy Birds Fans of the popular Angry Birds™ game will love this class as they have fun creating their very own characters and scenes from the game. ey will also explore the physics behind the game as they learn about forces, slingshots, and catapults in the crazy world of Angry Birds™. Brick City Does your builder enjoy designing beautiful buildings and cities for their mini-figures? If so, this program is the perfect space for your young architect or city planner to sharpen their design and building skills! Campers will learn about the importance of collaboration, careful planning, and skillful execution of their building plans. Animation Studio Campers will work in teams to learn the fundamentals of stop-motion animation and develop their own animated movie starring some of their favorite LEGO mimi-figures! Lessons include plot development, set design, and detailed visual/audio editing. Finished projects will be uploaded to Snapology's YouTube channel to be shared! Mining and Building Join us as we bring the game of Minecra® out of the computer and into the real-world using LEGO® bricks. In this camp, you will go on adventures using your imagination and even design your own worlds, full of mobs, animals, buildings, and your very own LEGO® Minecra® character. Castles and Kingdoms Who wouldn't want to escape and play in the world of magic, fairytales, and royalty? Campers will use LEGO® bricks to design their medieval fantasies while also bringing the real history to life! Yes, your camper will do more than just build with LEGO® bricks; they will build their historical understanding of the unique elements that make the medieval time period such a fascinating point in human history.
