Saturday, April 8 (rain or shine) 9:00A-12:00P e bunnies have awoken from their slumber and le beautiful eggs in Maple Park for your children to dash and capture before they are scrambled! Children ages 3-10 are encouraged to bring baskets, bonnet and bunny ears to participate in our annual egg hunt. Our Bunny will be on hand for pictures with the whole family, and we will have themed games before and aer each dash. Although the event is free, all children will need a ticket to participate. Tickets will be available starting March 11. Pick up tickets at Candycopia (717 Lake Street) and be entered to win a birthday party at Candycopia. Free tickets also available at Ridgeland Common (415 Lake Street) and Gymnastics and Recreation Center (21 Lake Street). Ages 3-10 Presenting Sponsor: Rush Oak Park Hospital Doggie Egg Scramble Saturday, Apr 8, 10:30-11:00A Bring your dog to Maple Park for the Doggie Egg Scramble at Maple Park. Dogs and owners will hunt or scramble through the field to find the most doggy treat and prize-filled eggs. Aer the hunt, a special visitor will stop by to take photos with each family. is is an on-leash event for friendly dogs and their families; children must be accompanied by an adult. Rain or shine. All Ages Screen Break March 27-31, Various Times Screen Break is a collaboration between local community organizations and governmental entities in Oak Park. We are challenging families to turn off the TV, tablet, cell phone and video games for one week and enjoy fun, FREE events each day. Choose from special story times, nature activities, creative arts, and more. Stay tuned for a full week of fun. Unplug Illinois Day! Saturday, Jul 15, 9:00A-12:00P Unplug into wellness with PDOP! Unplug Illinois is a campaign that encourages residents to unplug from their electronics and plug into play, exploration and friendships! Come to Scoville Park and jump into and sample wellness activities for the whole family! All Ages! Presenting Sponsor Unplug Play! & SATURDAY, APRIL 29TH Join us in celebrating trees both big and small across Oak Park! We'll be hosting free activities for tree enthusiasts of all ages in various parks, including games, trivia, and story times. Enjoy guest speakers from close to home and across the country.
