For students who are interested in diving
deeper into the world of showbiz, we have
classes for music, singing, dance, or all
three! There will be an optional showcase
at the end of the session that ensures
an opportunity to perform and showcase
these skills, providing a higher sense of
confidence and achievement.

• Spring Showcase Saturday Jun 3. Iif you don't wish
to participate in the Spring showcase, you can
receive a refund for the costume fee.

Discovering Music
A fun, upbeat class that allows kids to explore singing,
dancing and various instruments while introducing
them to music theory.

Discovering the Stage
A high-energy, fast-paced class that introduces
theatre skills and activities for young students who
want to take the stage. Students will learn several
warm-ups, games, and improvisation techniques
to give them strong stage presence and confidence
projecting their lines, as well as playing as an
ensemble.

Intro to Singing
Students learn and improve vocal technique with
proper breath control, increase their vocal range,
and learn to read sheet music. From classical arias to
Broadway show tunes, the repertoire will consist of
a combination of the instructor's assignments and
student's picks.

Intro to Acting
Actors will explore improvisation through fun games,
dialects, scene study and monologues in this high-
energy, fast-paced class. Students will strengthen
their collaboration skills and apply new techniques to
various forms of theatre.
Theatre for Beginners
Learn to how to be a triple threat! Each class will dive
into acting, voice and dance exploration. Students
will learn dance styles including jazz, hip hop, and
tap; as well as sing solos, duets, and group songs from
classical and contemporary musicals. ey will also
learn unique comedic and dramatic styles of acting
for a musical.
Youth Summer Musical:
Willy Wonka JR!
Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic
candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages
a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his
scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes
up with these tickets will win a free tour of the
Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of
candy. Four of the five winning children are
insufferable brats, but the fih is a likeable
young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes
the tour in the company of his equally amiable
grandfather. e children must learn to follow
Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory, or suffer the
consequences. Ages 7-15

Students interested in performing will audition
with a song of their choosing, read lines from
provided script pages, and learn and perform
a short dance combination. Performers will
be assigned roles and memorize their part
throughout the process including scenes, songs,
dances, and character development.
