Adult Skating: Beginner,
Intermediate, and Advanced
Adult Skating Beginner class introduces falling
and recovery, forward marching, glides, swizzles,
snowplow stops, two-foot turns, and gliding into dips.
No experience required for the Beginner level class.
Adult Intermediate class will build on Beginner skills
and include forward stroking, forward and backward
crossovers, three turns and t-stops. Advanced Adult
Skating classes cover waltz jumps, front and back
edges, mohawks and one-foot spins.
Women's Beginner Hockey
is class follows the Adult Hockey Beginner
curriculum. No experience is required. Meet new
people or join with friends and spend your Sunday
mornings on the ice! Equipment Required: Skates
(rental available), shin pads, hockey pants, elbow
pads, gloves, helmet, and stick (shoulder pads
recommended). If you identify outside the gender
binary, you are also welcome.

Adult Hockey Beginner
is class provides an encouraging environment
for adults to give hockey a try. No experience is
required. Skills taught include skating basics, such
as backward skating, crossovers, and stopping, as
well as stick handling, passing, and shooting skills.
e laidback atmosphere and experienced coaching
provide participants with loads of fun while focusing
on developing new skills. Meet new people or join
with friends and spend your Friday nights on the ice!
Equipment Required: Skates (rental available), shin
pads, hockey pants, elbow pads, gloves, helmet, and
stick (shoulder pads recommended).
Adult Hockey - Level 1
is class provides skill development and gameplay.
Geared towards novice and intermediate players,
each week will feature coach-led drills designed to
improve player's ability in skating, stick & puck work,
and positional hockey. Classes end with a scrimmage
game. Sign up with a group of friends or meet new
people! Full equipment is required for this program.
Adult Hockey Level 2
is in-house recreational league offers players a
chance to play a weekly game in a fun and friendly
(but competitive) atmosphere. Games consist of three
20-minute running clock periods with a referee. In
addition to AHAI/USAHockey Rules, the program
does not allow checking or slap shots and has a
zero-tolerance policy for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Players in this program should have experience
playing hockey because there is no instruction in
this program. Sign-ups for the league are done on
an individual basis. e league reserves the right to
move players from team to team to ensure balance
and quality of the program. Full equipment is
required for this program. Players will receive a
jersey.
