Experience in Tai Chi is suggested as minimal instruction is provided; however, interested newcomers are welcome to register and learn by example. No experience or partner is necessary. Just wear comfortable clothing and come learn about other cultures through their music and dance. It's an opportunity to meet new people and it's good for your body, mind, and spirit. You won't even know you're exercising! is fun class will include several dances - Swing, Cha Cha, Merengue and others – as we dance to the tunes from Frank, Elvis, Dino, Santana and more! Please bring leather or leather-like soled shoes. No partners necessary as students will dance with each other. Masks are recommended. Ages 50+ FREE for Active Adult Members Location: Dole Center- Studio 1 General Recreation Cake & Cookie Decorating Tuesdays, 9:30A-11:30A, Apr 4-May 30 Learn a wide variety of techniques for decorating cakes and cookies, from the simple to the sublime. Students will be asked to bring their own baked goods to work on in class. Students will be given a syllabus and schedule of what's required for each class so they have plenty of time to make the items they need to bring to each class. Do you like to learn about the sights and sounds of places around the world? Learn about great museums and architecture throughout the world and the wonderful treasures they hold. We will journey to major cities and become acquainted with the wonderful cultures of the past and present. Bookworms may be the best fit. Book titles are chosen at the beginning of the year and posted on our Active Adult webpage. Space is limited so registration is required to join the discussion. Participation is flexible, sign up month to month. Ages 50+ Location: Cheney Mansion - Solarium Friends and Flicks Mondays, 1:00-3:30P, Apr-Aug Start your week with a movie and friends at the Dole Center.
