Sock Hop Skate Friday, September 8, 6:15-8:25P A blast to the past, kick off your shoes and lace up your skates as the park district is throwing a 50s/60s themed Sock Hop skate. Bring out your finest duds and come skate at the rink with music from the past! Whoever comes in the best costume will receive a prize. Res Fee/Fee: $8 Trunk or Treat Friday, October 27, 5:00-8:00P Come to the Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex parking lot for some trick or treating. e lot will be filled with cars from local groups and organizations handing out candy for anyone wearing a costume! Spooky Skate Friday, October 27, 6:15-8:25P Put your costume on and come to the rink to be spooked out of your skates. Enjoy a ghoulish public skate with all the extras! Compete in a costume contest, play chilling games on the ice, do some creepy cras, and, of course, eat some candy too! e ice will be decorated like a haunted house with Halloween-themed music. Res Fee/Fee: $8 Skate your Turkey Off Wednesday, November 22, 11:30A-1:30P Get ready to skate your turkey off ! Get in a great family skate before the long weekend of good food and football. $2 off at the door if you bring a nonperishable donation for the local food pantry! Res Fee $6 - Fee $8 FALL MUM SALE & BULB SALE Begins Online, Aug 25 In Person, Sep 15 Support the Oak Park Conservatory by shopping local this fall with homegrown Oak Park Conservatory fall mums. Mums are fall's favorite flower. This year we have grown an abundance of beautiful, unique and hardy mums to brighten up your front porch and garden. Choose from XL mum containers and 5" mums. Order online early for best selection! Plant in the fall to add color to your spring garden with easy-to-grow tulips, daffodils and other bulbs. Rare to find, naturalizing and perennial favorite bulbs will be on hand such as Tulips, Naturalizing Daffodils, Hyacinths, Alliums, Fritillaria, Snowdrops, Scillia and more!
