Locally grown and full of love, choose from blooming plants and flowers such as succulents, tropical houseplants, fresh- cut bouquets and more. WINTER SKATING EVENTS FOR ALL AGES Free for Rink Passholders. Holiday Skate Sunday, Dec 3, 1:45-3:45P Warm up with hot chocolate and start the holiday season with a winter wonderland-themed skate with arts, cras and games! Candycopia will be selling candies and treats! Res Fee/Fee: $8 Noon Years Eve Skate Sunday, Dec 31, 11:00A-1:00P is year on the 31st we will be hosting our own little New Year's Eve party at the rink! ere will be a countdown to Noon! ere will be fun games and activities that will be played both on and off the ice to celebrate the new Year! Advanced registration required, limited capacity. Res Fee/Fee: $10 My Doll and Me Skate Sunday, Jan 21, 1:45-3:45P is is a fun opportunity to bring your favorite doll to the rink and skate with them. e first 100 participants will receive a swag bag. ere will be arts and cras and on-ice events for everyone to participate in. Each participant will be given a raffle ticket where they can decide which prize they want and a chance at winning a variety of prizes from a free rink/pool combo pass to the 2024 American Girl Doll of the Year! Res Fee/Fee: $12 Cupid Skate Saturday, February 10, 6:15-8:25P Celebrate Valentine's Day and love in all forms on the ice! Bring your Valentine, Galentine, and anyone you care about to Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex for a fun day of skating. ere will be themed arts and cras and the ice will be lit up red for the skate. Res Fee/Fee: $8 Winter Fest POP-UP EVENT! Enjoy old fashioned fun in the snow with outdoor games, music, snacks and a warm fire pit on the patio. Inside the Nature Center, play a winter-themed nature game and make a winter-themed nature cra! All ages welcome! No registration required. Watch your email and social media for the date and time! Calling All Local Bands Accepting submissions for our Summer 2024 Concerts in the Park! Local bands or bands with Oak Park residents are given preferred consideration! The Egg Dash and Scramble Saturday, Mar 30, 9:00A-12:00P e bunnies have awoken from their slumber and le beautiful eggs in Maple Park for your children to dash and capture before they are scrambled! Children ages 3-10 are encouraged to bring baskets, bonnets and bunny ears to participate in our annual scramble. Our Bunny will be on hand for pictures with the whole family, and we will have themed games before and aer each dash. Although the event is free, all children will need a ticket to participate. Ages 3-10 Tickets available starting Saturday, February 3 at: • Candycopia (717 Lake Street) and be entered to win a birthday party at Candycopia. • Ridgeland Common (415 Lake Street) • CRC (225 Madison Street) Doggy Egg Scramble Saturday, Mar 30, 10:30A Bring your dog to Maple Park for the Doggie Egg Scramble at Maple Park. Dogs and owners will hunt or scramble through the field to find the most doggy treat filled eggs. Aer the hunt a special visitor will be available to take photos. is is an on-leash event for friendly dogs and the families; children must be accompanied by an adult.
