Youth Series Programs special interest Animal Robotics Mondays, 6:30-7:30pm Sep 11-Oct 16 and/or Oct 30-Dec 4 Snapology's Amazing Animals introduces students to the technical world of robotics. Students will work in teams to create a zoo of interactive and mechanical animals. Your child will build robotic animals and explore different mechanisms such as tilt and motion sensors, motors, and computer soware to help them bring their creation to life, all while having fun learning important social and technical skills. Ages 5-12 Res Fee $117 - Fee $137 Location: Andersen Center Gamebots Robotics Fridays, 6:30-7:30P Sep 8-Oct 13 and/or Oct 27-Dec 8 Calling all gamers! Have a blast creating robotic games each week while learning about robotics. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, programming, and pulleys as they create fun to play games. Whether creating a robotic hockey player, pinball machine, or a ring toss, your child is sure to have fun building, learning, and playing. Ages 7-14 Res Fee $117 - Fee $137 Location: Andersen Center Class not held 11/24 Kinder Robotics Saturdays, 10:00-11:00A, Jan 6-Feb 10 and/or Feb 17-Mar 23 Children will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands, or discovering ways that gears and pulleys create movement while building helicopters and robotic dogs, your child is sure to have a great time. Ages 4-6 Res Fee $117 - Fee $137 Location: Longfellow Center Awesome Adventure Robotics Mondays, 6:30-7:30P Jan 8-Feb 12 and/or Feb 19-Mar 25 Snapology's Awesome Adventures introduces students to the technical world of robotics. Your child will build robotic giants, sports models, planes, and boats to explore different mechanisms such as tilt and motion sensors, motors, and computer soware. ese mechanisms will bring their creation to life, all while having fun learning important social and technical skills. Ages 5-12 Res Fee $117 - Fee $137 Location: Andersen Center Real World Robotics Fridays, 6:30-7:30P Jan 5-Feb 9 and/or Feb 16-Mar 22 In Snapology's Real World Robotics class, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life robotic technologies. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors, robotic arms, and much more. Your child will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn, and play.
