The Board is a policy- making body that does its best to represent the needs and interests of Oak Park citizens. Park Board meetings are generally held at 7:30pm on the third Thursday of each month, and take place at the Hedges Administrative Center, 218 Madison Street, Oak Park. Committee of the Whole meetings are generally held at 7:30pm the first Thursday of the month. Committee of the Whole meetings take place at the Oak Park Conservatory, 615 Garfield Street. There will be no Committee of the Whole Meeting in August. Residents are welcome at these meetings. Public comment is taken at Board Meetings only. Meeting dates and locations can be verified by calling (708)725-2000.
