Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex (RCRC) planned to open in June 2014 - both the pool AND the ice arena! Major renovation of Ridgeland Common, the Park District's flagship facility, began in March 2013. The plan for the major renovation of Ridgeland Common includes complete building reconstruction with expansion of the ice rink to official size (85'x200') equipping it for year round use; synthetic turf and new lighting and fencing for sports fields; a dedicated dog park, new children's water feature; pool gutters, mechanicals and pipe replacement. The future plan brings all spaces to one level, eliminating the need and cost of an elevator. The Park District is currently planning the Grand Opening Celebration for the RCRC. Look for details in the Summer Program Guide! Season Passes now on sale for both the Ice Arena and the Park District Pools - See page 41 for more information!
