JUST FOR TEENS
Flashlight Egg Hunt (Grades 6-12)
Supervisor: Melissa Rimdzius
The quest for the Golden Egg begins! Treat-filled
eggs will be hidden throughout the park for this
teen-only event. Your challenge is to find more eggs
than your friends using only a flashlight and to be
the one and only teen to find Golden Egg. After the
hunt, participants will head inside the Longfellow
Center for the revealing of the Golden Egg Grand
Prize, to crack open their eggs, and eat snacks while
hanging out with friends. Don't forget to bring a
flashlight! The actual hunt will begin when the
park is dark enough (usually around 7:45 pm)
Please note: This is a drop-off event for teens in
6th-12th grade; participants will be split by grade
for the indoor portion of the event. Candy may
contain nuts.

Teen Night Out (Grades 6-8)
Supervisor: Melissa Rimdzius
Teen Nights are still on the move this season! Last
season, Oak Park middle schoolers traveled to
various places for laser tag, cosmic bowling, and a
comedy show! This spring we're checking out three
different spots! Space is limited, so pre-registration
is highly encouraged!
Teen Night Out departs from the Stevenson Center
at 49 Lake Street and the doors open 15 minutes
early for check-in, so teens have a chance to hang
out and enjoy the game room before and after each
trip. For a listing of the event destinations, visit our
website at pdop.org/teens.
