Cheney Mansion Greenhouse Project Renovation will begin on the Cheney Mansion greenhouse in March 2014 including replacement of glazing and related framing, restoration of the ventilation systems, a new concrete floor, masonry tuckpointing, and the addition of double doors on the northside of the greenhouse for easy access. Additionally a restroom will be added on the southside of the greenhouse and minor abatement work will be completed prior to the commencement of construction. Renovation is anticipated to be completed by Memorial Day to make this beautiful new venue on the Cheney Mansion grounds available for weddings and other private parties this summer and for use by residents and visitors when the grounds are open to the public.
