87 No Smoking According to Park District Ordinance 7.22, no smoking of any kind (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, or other tobacco products) is allowed on Park District property. Thank you for cooperating. Bikes in Our Parks No person may ride a bicycle within any Park Facility where the use of bicycles is posted as prohibited. No person may use a bicycle at any time in a manner that interferes with or threatens any other person. No Skateboarding Skateboarding is prohibited on park benches, monuments, or other park features as posted. No private tennis lessons allowed on Park District tennis courts. According to Park District Ordinance, no person shall conduct any private instruction, lesson, or class in any Park Facility at any time except as previously approved by the Park District. About Dogs in our Parks For the safety of our patrons, dogs are not allowed in Park District playgrounds unless serving as a service animal. Dogs are allowed in our regular parks as long as they are on a leash which is no longer than 8 feet at all times. For dog park information, please see page 85. No guns allowed in our parks or facilities.
