26 Circus Performance Camp (Grades 3-8 in Fall) Supervisor: Shari Wenzel Experience life as a clown, hang around upside down on the static trapeze, glide with a partner on the aerial silks, and climb the spanish web. Learn how to master the diablo, poi, juggle, try out a unicyle, and spin a plate. Campers spend time each day learning and perfecting skills on our aerial apparatus, improve their clowning techniques with acting and stunts, practice balancing, spinning, and catching our different circus props, along with open gym and time spent swimming at the pool. This camp will host a performance on Wednesday, July 2nd at 6:30 pm! This camp will swim Tuesday and Thursday at Rehm Pool. Learn how to juggle, handle a Diablo and Poi, and other balancing skills. Try out the static trapeze, Spanish web, aerial fabric silk, and a unicycle. We will also swim twice a week. This is a great two week introduction to all the circus equipment and props. On the last day of camp there will be a one hour early morning showcase for friends and family for the campers. This camp will swim Tuesday and Thursday at Rehm Pool. Min 12/Max 30 Gymnastics Summer Camp (Grades 1-8) Supervisor: Jamie Lapke A full week of fun, six hours a day including 6 boys events, 4 girls events, games, conditioning, flexibility a camp t-shirt and more. Children must be at least 6 years old or in Beginner Level or above to attend. Children DO NOT need to be current students enrolled in our gymnastics programs to participate in Summer Camp! NEW! Huskie Youth Cheerleading Camp Supervisor: Mike Mockler The camp will be directed by Melody Brown, Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach at OPRF HS and her coaching staff. This camp is designed for the beginner cheerleader with little or no experience. Our veteran coaches will cover proper techniques and motions, teach chants and cheers and put on an exhibition at the last class. This is a great way to get introduced to the sport of cheerleading and meet new friends. Min 6/Max 20 NEW! Basketball Camp Supervisor: Mike Mockler Join us at Brooks School for basketball instruction and fun for boys and girls. The goal of this camp is to develop a well-rounded, complete basketball player. Campers will experience a host of different drills and scrimmage throughout the week.
