EARLY CHILDHOOD
Pint Size Sports & Pint Size Sports with
Parents

(Ages 3-5)
In this class a variety of sports equipment will be
used to help your little athlete learn the basic skills
needed in any sport: balance, coordination, motor
development, and socialization! The fun, easy, and
age appropriate activities our staff plan will engage
your child as they develop the motor movement
needed in soccer, baseball, basketball, and tennis!
This program will take place both indoors and out
(weather permitting).
Pint Size with Parents (Ages 2-3)
This program will incorporate the same activities
planned in Pint Size Sports, but with the assistance
of a parent/guardian. The schedule will be
adjusted to fit the needs of the participants. Similar
equipment and skills development will be taught.

Fall Fun - NEW!
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
Spend six weeks with park district staff exploring
the colors, weather, and holidays of fall! Each week
your child will participate in a variety of hands-on
activities from crafts to games to stories and more.
So many things changes in fall…come share the
fun with us!

Winter Wonders - NEW!

Winter is full of wonders from snowflakes to icicles!
Come spend your Monday evening with us as we
participate in activities revolving around winter:
snow painting, cookie baking and gingerbread
house making…the wonders are endless. Explore
winter with your senses in this six week program!

Language Learners - Spanish
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
In these classes young language learners will be
exposed to Spanish words and phrases as they
socialize and interact with their peers during
small and large group activities. Art, music,
and stories will be part of the fun as participants
gain an appreciation for other cultures. This is
an introductory class that will involve repetition
to increase exposure, comprehension, and
connections to everyday activities that are familiar
to our learners.
Beginner Spanish I - Ages 3-5
Beginner I is for children who have never taken
Spanish.
Beginner II - Ages 4-7
Beginner II is for children who have previously
taken a Spanish class and are looking to learn
more in a new environment, with new friends!
