9 Little Helpers Workshop (Ages 4-7) F, Dec 19 from 5:30-8:30pm Supervisor: Amanda Heiman The Park District elves need helping hands to make sure stockings are decorated, toys are made, candy is wrapped, and lists are checked. Wear your favorite cozy pajamas to an evening at the Conservatory as we help the elves get ready for the season. Participants will rotate through stations including a craft, toy testing, story time, and candy making. Is your little helper ready for the holiday season? Dinner is provided. This is a drop off program. If so . . . then you can't miss a visit from the Snow Queen at Cheney Mansion this coming November. Don't let the cold bother you and weather the storm with an activity packed afternoon from games to snacks to art; dress the part of your favorite princess. This is a drop off program. Holiday music and a visit with Santa are all included. New toys will be collected for donating to local charities. Each family member attending must be registered. Tickets are non-refundable, or exchangeable for different seatings (unusable tickets may be returned to the Park District of donating to local charity). Number of guests per seating: 120. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All participants pay full price no matter the age. No high chairs or strollers allowed. All aboard the Santa Trolley - Reindeer Game Express! The event starts and ends at the Oak Park Conservatory where you will see some special items on display while you wait to climb aboard the North Pole bound Trolley. During your travels you will spend some silly time with the Head Elf as she lifts your spirits for your visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Entertainment, milk, and cookies await your arrival! To ensure families can ride together, registration for the Santa Trolley is NOT part of the fall lottery or accepted on-line. Please note this is a first come, first served program, with a limited number of registrations available. Sign up early!! TO BOOK A SPOT ON THE TROLLEY use the registration form located online at pdop.org/events/santatrolley to select your preferred times. The Santa Trolley Runs in 1 ½ hour increments on Sunday, December 14th. Min 12/Max 34 per trolley Available Times: This is a per person event, ALL RIDERS (ages 0 & up) must be registered and paid to board the trolley. Registration forms can be dropped off or mailed to one of our registration centers or faxed to (708)383- 5702. Forms are also available for registration in-person at: GRC (21 Lake Street) or the RCRC (415 Lake Street). Forms are due September 14th and registrants will be contacted by September 30th via email with their trolley assignment time. We will dine on pizza and then drive-up to the "theater" where we will sit behind the steering wheel of our individually designed "box cars." Snacks will be served as they enjoy a classic movie parked next to their buddy's convertible, SUV, or family sedan . . . no license required! This is a drop off program.
