OUR FUTURE LOCATI ON IN THE
LANDMARK
FIREH OUSE
LAKE
AND LOMBARD
OAK
PARK , ILLINOIS
The Historical Society has been proud
to be located on the second floor of
Pleasant Home in Mills Park since
1970. It is the only place we have
ever called home! But we also look
forward with great anticipation in
2015 to our move next to Stevenson
Park in a soon-to-be-renovated Oak
Park Landmark, shown here in a
circa 1900 photo.
Marking Life's Milestones
Looking for a unique way to commemorate
a birth, celebrate a special occasion, or
remember a friend or loved one? Remember
these special people or mark these distinctive events
by purchasing a personalized plaque at the base of a
tree, park bench or other park amenity at one of the
many Park District park sites. This program is overseen
by the Memorial Trust Committee. For plaque
installation in the fall, orders are due by July
1. For more information on marking a milestone or
getting involved in the Memorial Trust Committee,
contact the Oak Park Conservatory at (708) 725-2400.
As an extension of the Park District of Oak Park, WSSRA
offers our residents therapeutic recreation programs.
Persons with disabilities, of all ages and ability levels
