The Park District is pleased to partner with the Tennis and Fitness Centre for Indoor Adult Tennis Classe in Fall, Winter, & Spring. Beginning & Adv. Beg. players are introduced to new techniques, challenges, and game situations in a friendly & supportive structure. Skill Development, Game Fundamentals, and Fitness are the focus. This is NOT a PDOP program. For Info. & Registration please call the Tennis and Fitness Centre, 708-386-2175.Classes Begin Weeks of: Sept.14, Nov.2,Jan.4,Mar.1. Beginners Sun 3 – 4 pm Cardio Tennis Thu 6 -7 am Men's Pre-Season Softball Supervisor: Chad Drufke Get the rust off and take part in this 2 game pre- season softball program. No standings or awards are kept or issued. This is a good opportunity for teams participating in the upcoming spring/summer league to get back in the swing of things. All competitive, recreational and new teams welcome. Min 4/Max 12 Class does not meet: 9/01 Co-Ed Pre-Season Softball Supervisor: Chad Drufke Get the rust off and take part in this 2 game pre- season softball program. All competitive, recreational and new teams welcome. Min 4/Max 12 New! Umpire Clinic Supervisor: Chad Drufke It's that time of year to start gearing up for a new softball season. Are you looking to become a slow pitch softball umpire or are you an experienced umpire who needs a refresher course on the rules for the upcoming spring season? If so this one day program will serve your needs. Our own adult softball crew chief umpire Bob Mullin will use his experience and expertise to provide you the knowledge needed to umpire slow pitch softball. The clinic emphasizes and offers training on slow pitch softball rules as well as proper umpire mechanics. The program will be class based and no official certification is attained by completing the program. Min 8/Max 20
