17 Eco-Ranger I Supervisor: Laura Sowers Let's take a hike through a prairie! Or maybe through a tropical rainforest? Or maybe even through a wetland? For campers interested in nature, the environment, animals, plants, and insects, Eco-Ranger I will allow your camper to explore nature through supervised games, play-learning, and field trips to local natural areas. Campers will learn about food chains, the impact of humans on the environment, and the interconnectedness of nature and humankind. All sessions are facilitated by camp instructors trained and passionate about the environment, and knowledgeable about local flora and fauna. Become an Eco-Ranger today! Min 6/Max 10 Eco-Art I Supervisor: Laura Sowers Art made from leaves, sticks, rocks, and recycled tee- shirts? If you have a camper with an artistic bent and an interest in nature, Eco-Art I camp is made for them! Facilitated by instructors with a passion for nature and art, this camp will allow your camp- er to explore their creative side through creating art using recycled, found, and natural products. Camp- ers will learn about the natural world, recycling, upcycling, and reuse through games, play-learning, field trips, and a series of art projects. Min 6/Max 10 Eco-Ranger II Supervisor: Laura Sowers Has your camper been through our Eco-Ranger I camp? Do you have an older camper with an interest in the natural world? Eco-Ranger II camp was made for you! Campers will learn about their environment, plants, animals, and insects through supervised play-learning, field trips, and discussions. Topics will include: global warming, plant identification, producer/consumer relationships, and community awareness. All sessions are facilitated by camp instructors educated and passionate about the environment and their local communities. Take your camper's environmental education to the next level today with Eco-Ranger II camp! Min 6/Max 10 Eco-Art II Supervisor: Laura Sowers Have a camper that has been through Eco-Art I camp? Maybe you have an older camper with a developing art and nature interest? Eco-Art II camp may be just right for your camper! In this camp your eco-artist will work collaboratively with camp instructors and other campers to create large art projects that reflect human influence on the environment. Campers will learn about the environment, recycling, upcycling, and community awareness through play-learning, field trips, and other group projects.
