24 Ecology & Nature Camps Ideal for campers interested in nature, the environment, animals, plants and ecosystems, our Ecology and Nature Camps include the Eco-Ranger track and Eco-Art track for Grades K-5. Eco-Rangers: Let's take a hike! Learn about food chains, the impact of humans on the environment, plant identification and more. Eco-Art: We're making art from found items, like leaves, sticks, rocks, and even recycled t-shirts! Collaborate with other campers to create large-scale art projects that reflect human influ- ence on the environment. For complete options please visit S U M M E R C A M P S Hockey & Figure Skate /Swim Camps Enjoy these unique camps that will feature both time on the ice and at the pool at the newly renovated Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex. This camp is focused on skating fundamentals and will feature on-ice instruction, open swim time, as well as games and activities all taking place at Ridgeland. Skate & Swim Camps are for those interested in Figure Skating or Hockey, but are looking for a variety of activities throughout the day. Hockey & Figure Skate Specialty Camps Get an edge on the competition this summer! These camps will focus on developing skills on the ice and improving strength, agility, and balance. This camp features over 2.5 hours of ice time a day as well as off ice fitness classes focused on developing muscles used on the ice. Specialty camps are designed for those skaters who are passionate about skating or hockey and looking to improve their abilities on and off the ice, operating like a clinic within the camp.
