All participants will start at the top of Barrie Hill and roll their pumpkins to smithereens. No need to pre-register, just show up ready to SMASH! SPECIAL EVENTS Volunteer opportunities include helping with Halloween activities, acting as tour guides, & dressing in costume in our haunted house. See page 87 for more information! RCRC Ice Arena Friday, October 30 6-8:15pm Put your costume on and come to the rink to be spooked out of your skates. Enjoy a ghoulish public skate with all the extras! Compete in a costume contest, play chilling games on the ice, do some creepy crafts, and of course eat some candy too! All ages. The ice will be deco- rated like a haunted house with spooky music, too! Fee: $7 or by season pass (skate rental $3) Teen Trip: Haunted House Friday, October 23 Supervisor: Mike Loszach Travel to the Scream Scene Haunted House in Skokie to experience the chills and terrors of the chainsaw maniacs, insane clown maze, and more! $16 Oak Park residents / $24 non-residents See page 74 for more information! One Day Fall Play: Boo Bash Costume Party (Ages 3-5) Saturday, October 24, 10am-Noon Supervisor: Marie Markham-Gonzalez Come show off your funny, scary, or inventive costume and join us for a morning of Halloween fun! We will listen to spooktakular stories, make a craft, and take home a treat bag full of ghoulish goodies. $18 Oak Park residents/ $27 non-residents See page 45 for more information! Food, Flicks & Frights (50+) Thursday, October 29, 11:30am-2:00pm Supervisor: Shari Melde The Halloween edition of Food & Flicks at Cheney Mansion will feature the Alfred Hitchcock classic "Psycho" from master storyteller, Alfred Hitchcock.
