19 Winter Break Mine, Craft, Build Adventure Game Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO®! Resourceful- ness, creativity, and cooperation come together in this unique building adventure game; roll the dice to mine for resources, and use these resources to build special items to help in our adventures! Build a Zoo, create a Medieval Castle, and design a Tree House Village! This LEGO® experience is an original game designed by Play-Well instructors inspired by the popular game, Minecraft. Students will have a blast, even without any prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO®. Min 11/Max 16 Winter Break Mine, Craft, Build Survival Game Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO®! Resourceful- ness, creativity, and cooperation come together in this unique building adventure game; roll the dice to mine for resources, craft tools, and watch out for Creepers! This ultimate LEGO® Minecraft experience is an original game designed by Play-Well instruc- tors, using gameplay elements and characters in- spired by the popular Minecraft video game. Students will have a blast, even without any prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO®. Min 11/Max 16 Winter Break Hot Wheels Challenge Supervisor:Karyn DeYoung Start your engines and get ready to race! Various race tracks will be set up for all little speedsters to test their cars! In addition, a mini course with remote controlled cars will be set up. Each participant will receive a Hot Wheels car and pizza lunch. Min 6/Max 18 Winter Break Chess Scholars Camp Supervisor: Amanda Heiman This camp is designed for both beginners and experienced young players. All participants will learn cool new strategies at the appropriate level from a renowned Chess Scholars coach. Each class will con- sist of a fun interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Children will have an opportunity to test for a Chess Belt® under a unique Chess Scholars system patterned after martial arts belts. There will also be a chess competition with prizes! Each camper will take home a chess set and an award. Please bring your own snacks. Min 5/Max 20 Class does not meet: 12/24,12/25 Winter Break Circus Camp Supervisor: Amanda Heiman This camp is designed for students to try their hand at the arts of the circus! This is an introduction to the art with a small showcase display of what we've learned for parents on the last day. You will learn basic tricks and stunts straight from the circus. Tra- peze and aerial silks will be taught. This is a unique opportunity and a great way to improve strength and coordination.
