Practice your jump shot as teams will be formed each program night playing games on a rotating basis. Play only, no instruction is given. Children are not allowed in the facility. Min 10/Max 20 Class does not meet: 10/12 Adult Futsal Drop-In Supervisor: Dan Schaffer Looking for a place to play soccer in the winter months? Join our Drop-In Futsal Program for all levels. A gym supervisor will organize gameplay and pick-up games will be played on a nightly basis. NO instruction will be given. You must be registered to participate!! Min 10/Max 25 Class does not meet: 11/24 Adult Tennis - Beginner to Advanced Supervisor: Dan Schaffer In each class participants are introduced to new techniques, fun challenges, and game situations with a friendly, supportive learning structure. • Beginner Tennis is designed for those who have never played before or played some during youth or as adult recreationally who has some success rallying ball back and forth, but would like to develop more shot quality and want a firm understanding of tennis stroke technique, production and footwork. • Intermediate Tennis is designed for those who can rally successfully, but still desire more ball control and better movement with various tennis stroke awareness but needs correction or practice in certain areas. In addition, you will work on covering court spaces, exploit- ing opponents' weaknesses and developing conditioning and consistent shot depth. • Advanced Tennis is designed for those who have shot depth and can put pace on the ball with above average ball control but are looking to improve on developing match- toughness, winning strategies, fitness and tennis specific conditioning. Min 6/Max 8 Adult Skateboarding Supervisor: Dan Schaffer This class is designed for adults who want to brush- up old skills, learn new tricks, or start from scratch. And it's a chance for parents of skateboarders to find out why your children love skateboarding so much. Because skateboarding is an individual sport, participants will learn at their own pace with the help of experienced instructors who will give plenty of tips and pointers. Participants must provide their own helmet and skateboard. The skate park will be closed to the public during skateboard- ing lessons. Min 4/Max 10 Adult CoEd Floor Hockey Supervisor: Dan Schaffer It is the "goal" of this program to "assist" those with a hunger for floor hockey a way to satisfy their appetite in this recreational setting. With the help of a gym supervisor, teams will be formed each night and games will follow. No instruction is given. You must be registered in order to "power-play". ALL PLAYERS NEED a hockey stick (plastic), mouth- guard and protective eyewear. All of which are available to purchase from the Park District. Min 10/Max 20 Class does not meet: 11/24 Men's Fall Basketball League Supervisor: Dan Schaffer The Men's Basketball League is a recreational league. Teams will register on first come, first served basis. This league will have an 8-game regular season followed by playoffs. Games will be played at Brooks Middle School and games will not start any earlier than 6pm. Teams are allowed to have a maximum of 10 players on their roster.
